On the road with eCargo bikes
To continue their promotion of sustainable mobility for their employees, Swiss Post and PostBus are supporting the “carvelo2go” pilot project as part of the “pro clima – We’re acting now” sustainability programme. The project offers rental of eCargo bikes, electric cargo bicycles that can carry loads of up to 100 kilograms. With their bench seats and safety belts, they can also be used to transport two children. The 14 bikes are stationed around Basel and Berne at small businesses – and at six post offices. Others are planned.
